The PGK Project (A Contemporary Dance Company)
features the work of notably acclaimed choreographers
commissioned specifically to create performances of extreme
range and dynamic that are wildly engaging and thoroughly
entertaining. Solo and duet programs, chamber programs from
four dancers to six dancers to the compliment of ten the work twists
and turns between witty, athletic and raw, stunningly sculpted,
compelling, poetically charming, graceful and sincere dance at
its best.

    The performers and choreographers associated with The PGK
Project are all critically acclaimed artists whose work has been
presented and appreciated around the world. Trained in the most
prestigious institutions from New York University’s Tisch School of
the Arts, The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Montclair State
University, The San Francisco Ballet, Ohio State University, The
University of Utah, Boston Ballet, Temple University, The Alvin
Ailey American Dance Center and The California Institute of the
Arts (CalArts) these artists while having their own creative voices
together comprise the witty and clever; physically elegant and
sleek signature of this contemporary repertory dance company.

    Some of the work has been commissioned and premiered for
the company while other works have been restaged. Some of the
premieres of these pre-existent works have been met with

Arts (Taiwan), Joyce Soho (New York), The University of

    Many of our performers and choreographers have received a
variety of grants and fellowships for their work as well as their
evolution. Awards have come from Pepatian, Miami Dade, The

CECARTS and The Florida Council for the Arts among others.
